When opportunity knocks, it's not just a chance to showcase your artistry; it's an invitation to elevate your craft to a whole new level!
That's precisely what happened when we had the incredible privilege of teaming up with our friends at Zynth Entertainment, and Santa Margherita Wines for a live brand activation at the incomparable Diner En Blanc Vancouver event this past August.
This unique collaboration was an extraordinary blend of art, elegance, and the world of wine.
Santa Margherita Wines, a brand synonymous with quality and innovation in the wine industry, provided the perfect muse and inspiration for our artistic endeavours.
Their slogan, "Uncork Extraordinary," beautifully mirrors the spirit of #GETMELTED, where we believe in breaking boundaries and creating extraordinary unforgettable experiences through collaborative art.
Our #GETMELTED experience is all about evoking emotions and transforming the human canvas through colours, however, for this special live performance we faced a unique challenge – we could only use the signature Diner En Blanc White and silver colour pallet.
...But as artists, we thrive on challenges.
With the collaboration of our talented dancer friends from Zynth Entertainment, we set out to create a performance that marries the elegance of Diner En Blanc with the fluidity of dance and the playfulness and sensuality of our one-of-a-kind paint pouring technique.
To achieve this fusion of creativity, we experimented with various shades of white - from pearly tones to pure whites, and even added a touch of iridescence and glitter.
The result was a mesmerizingly layered Blanc pour experience like no other, showcasing our commitment to pushing the boundaries of our craft and staying true to the voice and tone of the brand and event.
Infusing the tantalizing essence of wine into our performance, we decided to use the beautiful bottles of Santa Margherita Wine as our paint containers.
Watching the paint flow from these elegant bottles added a touch of sophistication and symbolism to our art.
The live performance began with artist Erica and muse Nicole, both dressed in pristine white, enjoying a classic Diner En Blanc picnic.
They poured glasses of Santa Margherita Wine and settled in with a spread of white croissants and bread.
...But then, the unexpected happened. Nicole was overcome with passion and dramatically tossed aside the picnic arrangement, signalling the start of our "Melt."
As Erica and Nicole danced and twirled in unison, the white paint slowly covered Nicole from head to toe. It was a breathtaking spectacle, an art form merging seamlessly with graceful movement.
The pièce de résistance came when Erica applied red lipstick to Nicole's lips, adding the finishing touch and transforming our muse into the epitome of elegance. Nicole posed with a white fan, embodying the perfect blend of sophistication and artistic expression.
The performance was expertly captured by photographers Kaaran Singh, Kuna Lu, and Josh Neufeld, resulting in ethereal and stunning visuals that perfectly encapsulated the live experience.
The #GETMELTED live performance at Diner En Blanc Vancouver was a testament to the power of art, creativity, and collaboration. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to share our craft with a live audience and for the overwhelmingly positive response to our performance.
