Erica Marrello is a dynamic, results-driven Events and Hospitality Professional with nearly two decades of hands-on experience across the events and creative industries. 

 

She is the founder of EMM Creative and EMM Gallery, and serves as Event Operations Director at Zynth Events. Erica has played a pivotal role in planning, producing, and executing a wide range of high-impact events - from large-scale outdoor festivals to immersive brand activations and private creative experiences.

 

Erica specializes in managing multi-departmental teams and navigating complex event logistics, with a focus on large-scale bar service operations, hospitality programs, staffing, and on-site creative activations. Her bar programs are known for being both efficient and inviting - designed to handle high-volume service seamlessly while maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests. 

 

She has led service operations and hospitality at many of British Columbia’s most recognized events, including Harvest Haus Oktoberfest, Honda Celebration of Light, Burnaby Blues & Roots Festival, Deer Lake Park concerts, Abbotsford International Airshow, and the inaugural Our Neck of the Woods festival celebrating Maple Ridge’s 150 year Anniversary.

 

With a deep-rooted foundation in hospitality, Erica is known for her calm, collaborative leadership style, unique creative vision, and tireless work ethic - approaching every event with a strong awareness of the guest journey, while staying deeply attuned to the event’s creative goals, stakeholder needs, and operational demands. She believes events should feel effortless, exciting, and fun for everyone involved - and carries that philosophy through every phase, from concept to on-site execution.

 

Through EMM Gallery, Erica’s background as an artist merges seamlessly with her event work. From hand-painted photo walls to curated art installations, interactive zones, and full-scale creative direction, she has a proven ability to design unique guest experiences that blend artistic depth with production-level polish. She frequently assembles and directs teams of local artists, performers, photographers, and videographers to ensure each activation delivers lasting visual and emotional impact.
